#HDPalooza is just 9 days away. Come and say Hi in DC or Boston at a #HealthCampFire

Health Data goes main stream

The Health Data Palooza is less than 10 days away. It kicks off with a reception on Sunday June 1st and concludes on Tuesday June 3rd at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington DC. (Registration Link: https://nonmember.healthdatapalooza2014.com/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1)

I am excited to be joining the Consumer’s Circle to represent the views of the Patient and Consumer in Health. Societies like the Society for Participatory Medicine have done sterling work in raising the voice of the Patient as HealthCare goes through major transformations and I am looking forward to re-uniting with some of the many friends I have made at HealthCa.mp events over the years.

Make sure you come and say hello. You should be able to spot me in one of my Walking Gallery Jackets:

MedYear launches at HealthData Palooza

I am also excited to see Medyear.com launch at the HealthData Palooza. I have been advising Medyear for nearly two years, encouraging them to build a platform that puts the patient at the center. Anyone can sign up for a Medyear account at https://www.medyear.com.

Off to Boston

Before I get to Washington DC I have to visit Boston to do a Big Data presentation with Datastax. There may still be a few tickets left for the Lunch event. If you are in the Boston or Cambridge area on May 28-29th let me know. May be we can have an impromptu HealthCa.mp/fire session. Watch for Tweets about this using #HealthCampFire.
